THUNAI AI is a Digital Public Infrastructure initiative of the Department of Social Welfare & Women Empowerment, piloted in Rajapalayam. The platform supports human improvement, human health, human safety and human finance for women through AI-guided learning, employment matching, entrepreneurship tools, government scheme discovery, healthcare access, personal safety features and financial inclusion services, available in Tamil, English and Hindi.

Key services: free AI skilling courses, an AI career and job-matching assistant, a women startup and SHG marketplace, government scheme tracking, a health card and doctor booking, an emergency SOS safety tool, and savings, loans and insurance access for women across Tamil Nadu.
